About Us
A Gainesville building materials company built on reliability and straight answers.
Our story
Started by a builder's frustration
Genean Griffin spent years watching jobs stall because a supplier quoted one date and delivered another. Alkhibrat Materials LLC was founded to fix that — a supply company in Gainesville, Florida that treats every delivery date as a commitment.
Today we stock thousands of products for residential and light-commercial construction, and we keep our team small on purpose so every customer gets someone who knows their project.
Our name comes from the Arabic word khibra, meaning "expertise" — a reminder that the value we add is knowledge, not just inventory.
What we stand for
Our values
Honest pricing
Our quote is our invoice. Fuel surcharges or restocking fees are disclosed up front, never added later.
Reliable timing
We confirm every delivery the day before and text you when the truck leaves the yard.
Code knowledge
Florida's wind and moisture requirements are specific. We help you choose products that pass inspection.
Local first
We hire locally and buy from Southeastern mills and plants whenever possible.
